Variable Exposure Time?
Hey there,
I am working in a university where I am wondering if we could vary the exposure time on prints? Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how it could be implemented?
I see the SLA printer uses its own file format .sl1. This a zip file with PNGs of each layer printing with the settings outlined in the config file. In the config file there is a variable called expTime. Ideally, I would like to make this a variable so that at a certain layer the exposure time changes.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this.
Thanks,
Euan

Custom resin calibration objects are announced, but not released yet.

That is interesting but does it let me vary the exposure time? Lets say I want the exposure to be 1 second for layers 1-5 and I want the exposure to be 2 seconds for layers 6-10.
RE: Variable Exposure Time?
Hi Euan, the first 10 layers are on a sliding scale from the first layer duration time, to the normal layer time...
is that not what you want?

Hey Joan,
No this not what I want. I want to have independent control over the exposure time for each layer. Is this possible?

I suggest that you raise a request on the SL1 Git Hub Page.
