SL1S Shipping Schedule?
In the past Prusa has provided shipping windows for product by purchase date. I'm curious when my order might be shipping.
Late June / Early July is kinda vague.

If every other product release by Prusa is anything to go by I expect there to be significant delays in the shipping. I would hope that since they are trying to target this machine to professionals and businesses that they not make delivery promises that they can't keep, but since I've been buying Prusa stuff the MK3, Textured sheet, MMU2, SL1, MK3S, MMU2S, new Textured sheet, Mini, MK3S+, Mini+, and Satin sheet all missed their promised ship dates (sometimes by 6 months or more).
Hopefully they've gotten their act together, but history suggests that you not hold your breath...

Precisely the reason I'm asking for a shipping table based on order date.

Even if you get that though, history says it can be meaningless. I watched the table change many times between Dec 2018 when I ordered my MMU2 with a 2 week estimate and May 2019 when they actually shipped it.
Sarcasm and angst aside, I expect that once the publicized ship time comes that they will add a section to the main shipping table page.

Be glad that you didn't pre-order a Glowforge laser - they were at least 18 months off on their ship date.
But maybe Prusa will surprise and ship close to the original date. Hope springs eternal 😉

OH! So there _is_ a shipping table. Nice to know. It hasn't been updated in a while, but at least I can put a watcher on it.
@gnat Thanks for mentioning it. It didn't occur to me that they would have a dedicated page. Back in the early MK3 days it was a forum post.

Yeah - that does add an interesting dynamic to the schedule, as they will be also backfilling previous SL1 orders that have yet to ship.
Hopefully they add a table for the SL1S orders soon.

With any luck, I'd love to know what kind of shipping I can actually expect, given that the original "3-5 weeks" when I ordered is pretty clearly all the way out the window, and tumbling out into the lawn by now.
Just have to see!

It will be interesting to hear what you get. Normally if your item hasn't shipped and a new model is released, they ship the new version. I've seen this with the MK3 to MK3S, MMU2 to MMU2S, and the S to S+ upgrade too. In those cases, however, there was little to no difference in cost though. With the significant price hike it will be interesting if people in your situation get a SL1S for the SL1 price, get a SL1, or they ask for more money.

If you are currently waiting for your SL1 and the package has not yet shipped, rest assured you will receive the upgraded SL1S at no additional cost.

They've announced that all un-shipped SL1 / CW1s will be upgraded at no charge. 🙂

I'd kind of doubt it, I'm two months into waiting on my SL1 order, so theoretically I should be *reasonably* far up on the list, and I've heard nothing yet.

They just updated the shipping page:
Shipping started in early July 2021
(New orders to be shipped in early August 2021)

That is exactly why I asked.
So if we take Komitadjie as a reference, it may take a long time. It's a pity that there is always such a small number of units to start with, and they don't wait with the announcement until there are enough printers in stock.

Makes sense, they clearly didn't make the "late June" part of the schedule. Have to see how it goes.
I'll update here as soon as I hear anything, tomorrow is exactly two months since my order went in.

To Prusa's defense, most companies have several months of lead time between announcement and product availability.
Let's keep each other updated here when/if you hear about any order notifications.
