Please find here a test STL that I have designed to see what is the minimal resolution that would be achievable by the SL1. Do you think you could print it?
It is a grid of squares and dots of depths and widths varying between 0.047 mm to 0.5mm.

I'm a french Engineer working in Germany actually and I was promoting this company because of their Philosophy to a lot of different makers and companies since couple of years but I'm loosing the faith with it and thinking about cancelling my order and buy from another company unfortunately................
Their philosophy is to ship the best product possible for a reasonable price. They produce 'workhorse' printers rather than 'hobby' printers, so reliability is a must-have feature. There was an issue with the screen cracking in certain circumstances and the Z axis was not stable enough, so fixing those issues caused delays. Other companies would have released anyway (like Anycubic Photon, which has the same issues) and later made a hardware revision you could buy as well. They are still working on a firmware revision now and have made major updates to the slicer for the SL1 release recently.
I agree that it is frustrating to wait so long, but this is the typical Prusa workflow. R&D, prototype, beta test, then delays as they find unexpected issues and actually fix them and retest. Assembled printers come out about a month before the kits do, about 6 months after the original release date. This is a side-effect of the focus on reliability over deadlines. Having used printers that did NOT have this focus, I prefer Prusa.

That is an interesting test file. It's results will vary even with the same resin based on orientation and layer height, though. In the SL1 you would not just print it flat as you would on a MK3. You can download the Slic3r PE beta now and play with it some to get an idea of what the sliced output is like. Here is what the slicer considers 'optimized' orientation. 
If you slice at .025, you get this:

If you download this file and zoom in, you can see the AA that is not visible in the slicer's preview.
I have kind of toyed with the idea of making a gamma value calibration sl1 file, but I am not sure if it is worth the effort as the pixels are so small that I suspect having AA at default will be all we need for most resins.

Hi Maxwell,
yes I have downloaded the beta version of the slicer since several weeks, I’m using it with the MK3S and MK2S, it is a really nice improvement over the previous version. I also played a bit with the SL1 view. I hope they will add the preview of the rasterized layers because it is kind of annoying to open the generated .sl1 file as Joan taught me and browse the images to see what the layers will look like in reality.
I’m also wondering what will happen if my test file is printed flat.
