Print display levelling and calibration - tilted down every time?
Hi all, new to the forum and to the SL1S, not had a successful print yet - usually no adhesion to the platform at all, or if there is, then just for a few patches, which then give up. I've seen all the tips regarding tightening the cantilever screw, slowing the print down, all that good stuff - as yet to no avail. One thing I have noticed is that each time I calibrate the machine, when it comes to levelling the print display against the tank base, it is always tilted down at the front each time. Is this normal? I mean, does the calibration cycle always set the print display to be tilted down at the front so that I always have to nudge it up to level? Or should it actually return to the position I last calibrated it at?
Would be good to know if the UV LED and display are having positioning problems or not!
RE: Print display levelling and calibration - tilted down every time?
Me again - I actually got my first test print to work! Key appears to have been using the CW1S to pre-heat the resin to around 34 °C
RE:
I think Syraya and Prusa resin bottle both recommend to print above 27 C
I have both my SL1S and CW1S on a heating pad to MAINTAIN warmth in my otherwise cold basement.
I wouldn't want to work in 27+ temperatures anyway, but I think most resins work best above 28 C.
