Revo hotend on Mk3.5 issue
I upgraded my hotend some while ago to Revo while the printer was still a Mk3s, but since fitted the upgrade to Mk3.5.
When I removed a Revo nozzle today, the coil that is normally help in place at the bottom of the hotend came away, revealing a spring above.
I'm unsure whether this is a problem, or how the spring and coil should be attached , if this is necessary. See photos for the current situation.
Any advice appreciated, thanks.
RE: Revo hotend on Mk3.5 issue
Not a problem at all. The spring is designed to "snap" in place between the Revo heatsink and the heater core. This separation has also happened to me on occasion. However, you may need to partially disassemble the extruder to snap the heater core and spring together again.

Thanks for your help. Gave me confidence I wasn't going to wreck things. Now up and running again. I just had to remove one of the cooling fans for better access, then the heater block snapped into place as you suggested.
In hindsight, I didn't wait long enough for the nozzle to cool before trying to remove it, so it hadn't contracted enough to allow free movement through the core. I'll know next time !!

I've made the same error before. It really helps to allow the hotend to cool before trying to remove the nozzle.
