First layer calibration has small gaps in the lines
I have an MK3 that's been upgraded a few times to an MK3.5 (or maybe MK3.5s, I don't know any more).
I just installed a new 0.6mm nozzle and did a first layer calibration. During the print, there are small gaps in the lines every few inches, and I hear a small "pop" from the nozzle every time one of these gaps appears. I'm quite certain that my z-layer height is fine. What is causing these gaps, and how do I fix it?

Dry your filament and try again.

RE: First layer calibration has small gaps in the lines
After doing some more research online, I'm guessing that my filament is not dry enough, and that the popping sound is water evaporating. I keep the spool in a dryer while printing, so it seems that it just hasn't fully dried yet.
