MK4 MMU3 Filament Change if a Spool is Finished Mid-Print

Hi,

Is there a way to continue printing from the next filament slot if my filament runs out in slot 1 instead of replacing the spool? This is while using a non-MMU profile in PrusaSlicer for the MK4 with MMU3. Is there any option on the printer interface that I missed?

Hi,. I was about to ask the exact same question. Did you have a solution for SPOOL 1 end, continue SPOOL 2 ?

Hi. I have the same problem. I ran out of filament in the MMu3 on spool 1 to see what would happen.

The print stopped and I had to manually remove the filament from spool 1. Solutions?

RE:

I believe what you are looking for is called SpoolJoin that needs to be set on the printer.

It would be handy to have it also as a button on the LCD screen when empyt spool is detected.
