Troubleshooting MMU3 on MK3S
Hi! I recently purchased a used MK3S with an MMU3 that was upgraded from an MMU2 and then further modified with Ultimulti. So MMU2->MMU3->UltiMulti. I’m having issues getting the MMU calibrated but can only find support for the MMU3 and MK3S+ not MK3S. I was reading the release article for the MMU3 and it said that although MK3S was not the focus in the upgrade that they would have knowledge base articles for customers still using them but I canning find those articles anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find the MMU3 MK3S documentation? Can I just ignore the “+” and use the MK3S+ article? I was under the impression that the firmware for the two printers was incompatible. Also, the printer came with what looks like the MMU2s buffer. Are the MMU3 buffer files available for print? Thanks!

the Mk3S normally has a 4 wire Pinda. the Mk3S+ has a 3 wire SupaPinda
otherwise they are pretty much opperationally the same
I Had a Mk3S with MMU3 which worked fine.
as far as I know the firmware for both is the same
