MMU3 firmware update on MK4S
Hallo together,
I would just like to ask you whether a firmware upgrade of the MMU3 on the MK4S takes place during the firmware upgrade of the MK4S, or whether the MMU3 should also be updated manually?
This is not explained in the documentation. At least I have not found/read it.

I'm wondering if you really need to update the firmware of the mmu3 everytime. For a long time it is still the same file: MMU3_FW3.0.3.+896.hex . Or do I miss something?

I don't know what the official stance is but a quick scan of all the 896 hex files shows them to be identical on a binary level so the answer from me is no, you don't have to re-update the MMU3 if it is the same version number (896).
