Filament breaking in Extruder
Hi all,
I'm having problems with my filament getting stuck in the extruder on my MK3S+ with MMU3. I had several successful test prints before this problem started. Since then, I moved it into an enclosure and had a few prints that needed help with the first change or two.
For my most recent print, when it tries to unload a filament to change colors, I get a FINDA Filament stuck error and the filament is still inside the extruder. It's hard to remove and sometimes tears, and when I pull it out, it is stretched at the bottom instead of in a nice point.
Towards the end of the print, it got stuck even when it wasn't changing filaments. It just didn't extrude. When I tried to remove the filament, it was stuck in the gears of the extruder, hard to remove, and looked stretched.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?
I would think it was bad tension on the extruder, but adjusting doesn't seem to make a difference.
Is there some way that too much friction upline could cause this?
The lines are a little extra curved from the enclosure, but I thought that would cause problems with the filament getting stuck in the lines, not stuck when I try to manually remove it.
Thanks
Changes in cooling can sometimes affect tip shapes. Does the problem persist if you print with the enclosure door open?
Cheerio,
