                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>@sngx1275 I did that process in reverse (MMU3, then MK4S upgrade) -- if I recall correctly, there were changes to the Nextruder when installing the MMU3 that are <em>also</em> part of the MK4S upgrade (and I was able to skip those steps for the MK4S). At a guess, depending on the model you select when ordering, you may recieve different parts. (If you have an MK4S, parts to upgrade the Nextruder may not be inclued with the MMU3 kit, as they would no longer be required.)</p><p>You could certainly install the MMU3 on the MK4 and do the additional upgrade to the MK4S later, as long as you have all the necessary parts.</p>]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>@redjacketpress I bought a 4S upgrade for my 4 a month or so ago, then a couple weeks ago I caved on the MMU3.  During the purchase process it asked what printer I have and the 4 was different than the 4S.  So I selected 4S.  What is that difference?  I assume I have to do the 4S upgrade before the MMU3 since thats what I selected - but why couldn't I use the MMU3 I bought on the 4 I already have?</p>]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You can eliminate the buffer by using an automatic spool rewinder.  A popular one is the Filamentalist.  I have had some good experiences with that.  The Nextruder filament gear is perfectly capable of driving the rewinder action.  And as a bonus, it makes loading spools way way easier (if you use the "rear loading" version of the Filamentalist).  I have 4 spools sitting in a dry box using those rewinders.  The 5th is a Filamentalist sitting on my bench, to be used as a wildcard.</p>]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dont have my MMU3 yet, but I intend to install Black, White, Yellow, Red, Blue.</p><p>I dont intend to change filaments often and want to just keep them loaded, even though I can go for long periods without printing anything as I'm just a hobbyist, so my intention is to create the filament storage boxes using the airtight cereal containers - lots of examples on Printables to choose from. </p><p>That just leaves the filament in the buffer cassette that's out in the open, which isn't too much when considering the whole setup. Or maybe that could be installed in another airtight container too.......</p>]]></content:encoded>
