I just watched the latest Prusa Podcast on YouTube and, near the end, they mentioned that they would be posting an update about the MMU3 in the next day or two.

I now have all the R3 versions, Ultimate versions and optional versions of the MMU3 printed out. With all the spare parts from two kits, I have started some assembly. Just nuts in slots but it will make final assembly go much quicker when I finally get this kit.

Well, i think it wont come this year. But to be honest, i rather wait till its perfect than receive half baked product.
But i hope we can use the voucher in the same order of the MMU 🙂

With all the understanding for getting a perfect product. As I see it is all a matter of SW. Some in Firmware some in new parts you can print by yourself. Therefore Prusa should ship the parts, patch later and the community can help to finetune.

Pretty sure we won't receive it this year. My estimated delivery is now delayed for another two weeks to 18.12.2023.

I don't think it will be that long. I am hoping for a Christmas gift. They have identified the problems and implemented corrective actions. Now just testing and verifying. A couple of weeks for this. Could see it start shipping by the end of November if all goes well in testing.

I upgraded MMU2S to MMU3 for MK3S+ and I used it in single mode and a few times in multimode.
Now I've gone from MK3s+ to MK3.9 and I'm fine, but now I have the MMU3 stopped and unused, I can't even use it in single mode, which would be possible as far as I know even with the problems you highlight.
It would be useful to at least put on sale the parts needed to make the MMU3 work with the MK4 or the MK3.9 for those who mainly use it in single mode.

This is Prusa. You can be sure that we won't hear anything about the progress of the MMU3 for MK4 for a long time to come. With luck, we'll get the MMU3 in summer 2024 or winter 2024 or never. Who knows for sure.It's also incomprehensible why the MMU3 for MK4 isn't sent out to people anyway. That way, the community can also help to improve it. Adding software updates and 3D printed parts afterwards shouldn't be a problem.I just don't understand it.Prusa can shove their 50$ voucher up their a**.
