RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
Also ordered 7/27/2023 and my order status has also not changed. That would be a bit crummy if they aren’t considering order number.
I ordered 7/27/2023, almost 2 months before @david-holland. No change in my order status.
It appears they are not shipping by order date.

The prusa XL I pre-ordered was also delayed in delivery, which is disappointing.

ordered 7/27/2023 still no update.

RE:
How about at least the firmware for the MK4/MMU3?
6.0.0-RC1 Firmware for Original Prusa MK4 & MK3.9
- MMU3 support for the MK4/MK3.9
- Using the MMU3
- Touch support MK4/MK3.9
- Stuck filament detection
- Cold Pull
- Stealth mode
- Time Zone settings updated
- Improvements by Prusa community
I scrolled through the commits, and didn't see anything about the 'blank screen' issue when trying to initiate a manual MMU print from the printer itself, but I've just loaded the firmware and it seems to have fixed that issue too.
RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
Already installed, only the MMU3 is missing 😪
RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
The release notes mention the hardware changes to the Nextruder, and say that the parts needed are part of the kit. Does anyone know if they're all printable parts, or if there are some new metal parts? I have a MK4 and a MK3.9, and I am hoping to be able use the MMU3 on either, so would quite like to be able to print the changed parts myself.
RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
To use your MK4 with the MMU3, you need to upgrade your Nextruder with new printed parts, which will require a partial disassembly of the print head
It looks pretty clear to me.

You're right! I missed that detail in my skim read. Ok, I look forward to the new printed parts appearing online some time soon.

There is the manual

So the only extruder part you can't print yourself is the Main Plate. So, any bets on how long before that part is available on it's own? My guess is many months before those of us who have an MMU3 and upgraded our Mk3 printers to Mk4 can use our MMU3 properly.
RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
Yes this is depressing
RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
I don't think it will be so long. I know Prusa time can be an eternity but usually it's the R&D portion, the supply chain is pretty good these days.

Also I wonder why it has to be printed with a special technique, is it just durability? Can we print a temporary part from PETG while we wait for the part to be delivered?
RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
I'm a day 1 order as well but nothing today. I just wish I could start printing the necessary parts not included in the kit. I was told there would be an update, but not seeing anything new on printables.
RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
As far as I am aware.
The filament sensor is revised to have an external arm, The main plate of the extruder is different to cater for the filament sensor arm. There is an O ring in the main plate. To stop filament shards getting into the orbital gears. The idler arms and idler toggle parts are different and there is a tiny magnet embedded in the end of the filament sensor arm.
I believe the idler toggle screws are longer than standard. As are the idler tension screws. There is a binoculars style spacer for the idler tension screws
There are two pneumatic tube fittings which have an enlarged hole for the filament, one for the extruder and one for the Mmu selector
I think that is all for the nextruder end
I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK

Yes, that lines up with the instructions. So basically there are actually many parts that will need to be ordered if you're moving the MMU3 from an MK3 to an MK4. That is too bad, but as long as it makes the process reliable and they are available soon that is the price to pay I guess.

Apart from the main plate, I wonder what the other supplied printed parts are printed from. Since the manual says that the old PETG parts are prone to bending over time, will ABS or ASA be enough to fix that, or is it possible that they're made of something more exotic, maybe with CF reinforcement??
RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
where i can download the new nextruder parts. I have installed the new software but no filament is comming. I have yet a printer mk3.9 with a mmu3 and cannot print. The filament is not commint to my printbed...
Prusa, give us the download link for the new nextrudr. I need my printer !!!
RE: Original Prusa MMU3 upgrade kit (for MK4) - Shipping soon?
I think you are using the new Prusa Slicer with the MK4 MMU3 profile. To make this working you need to change following line in the custom G-code:
from:
M708 A0x0b X5 ; extra load distance
to:
M708 A0x0b X19 ; extra load distance
this pushs the filament just a bit more to the toothwheel.
