[Solved] MMU3 and 3kg spools?  

MMU3 and 3kg spools?

I've got a few MK3s, an old MMU2, and some Vorons. Oh and an XL. Looking at trying out the MK4s to replace one of my MK3s and was seriously considering trying MMU again. I don't expect it to beat the XL but for what I want to do, MMU3 would be a good fit I think to try. The question is, I was curious if the MMU3 works well with 3kg spools? I'll be using at least 1 (for my primary color, black) though may be able to use smaller spools for the other colors. These would probably be fed from under the printer as that is how I used the MMK2 with my MK3s last time I used it.

But before I dropped $250 or so plus the cost of the MK4s itself, I thought I'd check to see if folks had any thoughts? Specifically the spools are in dry boxes. I recall the first time around I go better results without the buffer and just let the air gap handle things.
