I also ordered right away on 1.9.2023 and the order said 1 week delivery. Now it's just dragging on, somehow I'm losing my appetite to upgrade. With the problems the 3.12 firmware had vs MMU2S, Prusa should send this upgrade for free as an excuse. I'll wait until 9/20 and then decide if it's time to change printer manufacturer.

It's a pity that the order expected to be shipped between 6/9 and 12/9 is now suddenly post-dated between 25/9 and 10/1. I've already paid anyway. At the time of purchase, the delay was one week, now it's 3/4 weeks. You're not serious!

Continue telling yourselves. I ordered the upgrade kit from MMU2S to MMU3 on 9/1/2023 and at the first check it gave me an arrival date between September 6th and 9th.

The next day the date changed between September 22nd and 26th.

From that moment on, each day that passes the date is postponed by one day. For example, three days ago it was between October 7th and 13th, yesterday it was between October 8th and 14th, today it is between October 9th and 15th.

There are three options: either they haven't ordered enough parts from external companies, given that you have to print the plastic parts yourself, or they divert the parts to the complete kit which costs more and makes you more money, or they aren't interested in the Italian market and the orders are processed of more renumerative countries.

They replied that they didn't expect so many orders, but if I ordered a maximum of ten minutes after the orders were opened on the site, I say ten minutes because I had checked 5 minutes before and it wasn't yet orderable, let's say I was there. 'order a thousand at that point you should know when it's my turn based on the warehouse and the pieces ordered but instead I keep getting postponed as if there were privileged people passing by.

I feel really cheated and I can't do anything about it because I like the Prusa printer, but I'm going to start not ordering Prusament filaments anymore.

There maybe hope.  I placed my order on 9/1 and I  just got a shipping confirmation.

The sliding estimate was at 9/21 to 9/28.  Then it changed to shipped.

I orderd my 1st September, 2min after they sent out the e-mail, recived it last wendsday, 13 Sept.

yesterday I had some time to upgrade the MMU. Later today I will start to upgrade the extruder and connect the electronics

I ordered 10 minutes after receiving the email I now have a delivery of 29.09.2023. Screw it tomorrow 20.9.2023 I will order the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon Combo 😎

Just for info:

I had a MMU2S, already modified, with magnet and the steel ball!
I had the IR-Filament Sensor already installed on the extruder.

So I went ahead and printed all parts for the MMU3.
(I reused the old MMU2 front selector plate)
I also modified the:
mmu3-pulley-body & mmu3-idler-body, for easier printing

As far as I can tell, there are only a few new parts needed:
1. NEW 5x PTFE tubes 19mm
 The ones from the MMU2 do not fit into the new FRONT GUIDE (what is different??)
  I currently use the old PTFE tubes and the old front guide from the MMU2S
  - which, so far, seems to work OK 🙂

2. 5x Plastic collets
  I just pushed the tubes into the new guide and secured them from sliding out.
  works, but I will change that as soon as possible

3. The small silicone bumper.
    I guess  one can just put some other small bumpery thingy there 🙂

4. 1x Metall coupler for the idler
    I currently use a printed one

5. The small electronic board connected to the electronics of the MMU.
    ( currently works without this board)

I have already used the MMU3 for printing the "mmu3-label-plate" and everything worked well 🙂

I will definitively not spent $89 for this kit

V disappointing. I was confident that Prusa was a good company to deal with, but since the debacle with Mk3S upgrades, then this, I think my patience is at an end.

I ordered my upgrade as soon as it was announced.

Regarding  "Aliexpress".
Yes, they ship to my country.
BUT the only affordable shipping is via Postal Services!
and that usually takes:
4-6 weeks shipping
+ 2 weeks @ customs
+ 2 weeks local postal services
😴 😴 😴

Expected shipping date still changing.  When I ordered 4 weeks ago it said 4 to 5 weeks.  Now my order estimates the first week of November.  That's 9 weeks.  It still says 4-5 weeks for an order so if I order again today it would arrive before the upgrade kit I ordered 4 weeks ago???!!!
