It's now the middle of March. Any idea if the MMU3 fo rMK4 will ship this month? If not, when? If yes, when?

The shipping info page has a small update added on March 8th (which says end of March is expected).

The real problem is even if they start shipping at the end of March, when will mine ship? I ordered near the beginning of October, so there could be a lot of orders ahead of me. Hopefully there will be more detailed shipping info once they start.

It's almost the end of the month. I wonder if Prusa Research shipped any MMU3 for the MK4 yet? Asking for a friend... 😀

Surely they have the Firmware for the MK4 MMU3 combination ready by now. I don't understand why they don't release it. There are people like me who have already upgraded to the MK4 and MMU3.

I've been waiting for mine since they first day we could order it. I would rather that Prusa take their time and produce the best possible hardware/firmware so that i have fewer issues.
Though I will admit to getting a little bit impatient. Let Prusa get it right and we will all be happier.
Most of the people complaining that the MMU3 is late would be yelling even louder if it was early and but didn't work.

If they are releasing the MMU3 for the MK 4 in a couple of weeks the firmware better be ready now or Prusa is in trouble.

I believe is the both hardware and firmware to support the MK4 extruder that has been taking the time.

Waiting... still waiting... Any day now...
To be honest, the only reason i'm not upset about the waiting is the fact that my MK4 prints like a champion.
After the MMU2, i bet they dont want to release anything until it's rock solid. I do appreciate that.

I think they are still having problems with the firmware or the hardware. Unfortunately this issue has caused me to research other printers for the first time in 4 years.

When the MK4 came out I researched other printers and it came to either the Bamboo or the Prusa and the Prusa MK4 won out. I have since spoken with several people with the multi-filament Bamboo and they have ALL had problems.
It also seems that Bamboo's customer support is spotty at best. I've heard fantastic reviews about their service and I've heard horror stories.
Prusa tends to announce early but then has delayed shipment but, tbh, I would rather receive it late and working rather than early and problematic.

True. On reddit, you can see good Bambu posts and horrible ones also.
MMU is a complicated machine. On paper, it's simple as a rock: one filament gets pulled out, other gets pushed in. Tadaaa, color printing.
But when this needs to happen 1000-2000 times/print and for who knows how many years after, then it is crucial to be extremely reliable.
Just one major error and the print is over.
I rather wait for Prusa to stress test it as much as it needed.
UPDATE from Prusa on twitter at 2024.03.26 17:40: Quick update on MMU3 for the MK4. We are on track to start shipping by the end of this month, as stated in the last update. Smaller batches will leave factory this week, followed by full-scale production next week. Thank you for you patience!

Unless they are going to be shipping on the Easter weekend, it is now the end of march. Any word on actual shipments yet? The schedule info page still says end of march.

The kits have started shipping as confirmed on Twitter and a few people have confirmed in another thread. I imagine things will ramp up quickly.

I placed the order about ~15-17 minutes after opening and it was not processed. So next week it seems.

Prusa misses another deliverable! March has now come and is all but gone with NO MMU3’s for MK4 shipped to the masses. The expected ship date on my order just keeps changing every day pushing out the date by one more day. It went from shipping last week, to shipping by March 31st, then the next day to April 1st, then the next day to April 2nd and it’s move again to April 3rd. Very frustrating.
Like most, I have been waiting to print with the MMU3 since I received my MK4 that was also late in being delivered by months. I can’t believe I have waited almost a year since I decided to buy the new Mk4 with MMU3 vs the Bambu X1C that was out and shipping. I could have printing with color for a year now, instead I have been just waiting…

As we enter the last full week of April 2024, I am remembering over a year ago now reading about the new MK4 & MMU3. I ordered the MK4 and when available the MMU3. I ordered the Mk4 over the Bambu X1c because of the success I had with the Mk3. But as I sit here, still waiting for my mmu3 to ship, I can't tell you how times I almost ordered the X1C since that day in March over a year ago. If I had any idea I would be still waiting a year later...
Anyway, here I am over a year later still checking to see if my MMU3 is going to ship! Still nothing. Maybe next week... or the week after... who knows... Ordered my MMU3 on 7/28/23.
