Filament Association on the MMU3

I have seen this mentioned in the Forum but I cannot find it. Looked in the Handbook and could not find it either. How do I associate one filament to another in the MMU3? Not certain if Association is the correct word but what I am looking for is to tell the MMU3 that when I run out of filament in the (say) #1 selector spot it should go to the (say) #3 selector spot in order to keep printing. Hopefully this makes sense. I want to use the last of a roll of filament and then move to another roll to keep printing. Can anyone please tell me how to do it or where to go to find the directions or was I dreaming?

Thanks for you help with this.

RE:

The function you are looking for is called "Join".  I think you do this in the Advanced Filament Loading menu but I'm not at my printer so I can't check.

Section 8.3.1 in the manual:  https://www.prusa3d.com/downloads/manual/prusa3d_manual_mmu3_en_1_03.pdf

EDIT:  Actually rex555 has the better answer...
