Toolchange gcode for single color prints with MMU

Hello all,

up to now I am using the MMU just as a filament selector, so not for multimaterial printing. I am getting filament tips with long strings for PETG.

To understand what happens during the toolchange I analyzed the G-Code produced for a part with and without a toolchange (so single color and mutlti color).

It looks for me that these toolchange parameters (ramming, cooling moves,... ) are only applied when you have multiple colors. And in this case they are applied within the print for the toolchange and at the end before unloading the filament.

In case of a single color the procedure from the custom end G-Code is applied only.

What is the reason for this?

When I e.g. have two normal prints with single color one after the other I need to remove the filament from the MMU, cut it and then reload it?!
