MMU3 Upgrade Problem

I have a MK3S (firmware - 3.13.3-7864) that had a working MMU2S.
I just completed the upgrade to MMU3 (re-flashed firmware 3.0.2 after the problem occured)
When I power the printer on the printer boots fine, the lights on the MMU3 go through a series of flashing (the selector never moves) and ultimately the 5th light comes on and stays green.
The MMU is enabled in settings. It also shows the Firmware version in the Support menu.
When I go into the Menu tree the Pre Load MMU option is not there. There is an option to Eject From MMU.
I can reset the MMU from within the settings.

I have checked and rechecked all of the cable connections from the MMU to the Enisy board.

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

The startup routine, including light schemes are different on the MMU3. The homing doesn't occur until it loads filament.

My printer is currently in use, and it's an MK4, so I may not be able to advise you on the missing MMU functionality on your printer, but I found the following previous conversations.

RE: MMU3 Upgrade Problem

Maybe a silly question, but did you install the MK3s with MMU3 printer profiles?

No, that was not a silly question. I had not installed the MK3s with the MMU3 profile. (I have done it now) It never occurred to me. Thanks for thinking of that 🙂
However, the problem I am having is on the printer its self. There is some communication between the printer and MMU3. I can do a reset from the printer in Settings. The MMU3 firmware shows up under Support.
But I cannot load individual filaments to the MMU3 nor can I load an individual filament to the extruder. Those options are not available.
And then there is the matter of the number 5 LED staying green after it does it's self test. The selector does not move nor does the idler during power up.

Thanks,
Rusty

Lynn,
Thank you very much. I click on the first link you provided and that solved the problem. Turns out my FINDA sensor needed to be tuned/calibrated. Once I did that everything is working fine.
Again, thanks for the help it is really appreciated.

Thanks,
Rusty
