Filament loading issues and extruder clicking on MK4S Nextruder
Problem description:"When loading the filament, it gets stuck between the two bearings. If I finally manage to get it through, there is a clicking sound as the filament skips on the geared drive (extruder). When I reverted back to the original parts from the MK4S, it started working normally again. Does anyone have any advice on what to do with this?"
Thanks
RE: Filament loading issues and extruder clicking on MK4S Nextruder
You probably did not change the type of sensor on the Nextruder to MMU on the printer. Solution: Reinstall the sensor parts for MMU!. Don't forget to also tell the printer that the sensor for MMU is installed. Calibrate the sensor carefully again! When calibrating, disconnect the bowden cable between MMU and Nextruder and calibrate the sensor directly.

And one more reminder: Do not overtighten the tension screws on the Nextruder sensor, especially not as much as the instructions say. Tighten only enough so that the gear in the Nextruder securely grips the filament and delivers it to the nozzle! The same applies to the tension screws on the MMU pressure roller, where you just need to place the gripping part on the filaments and secure it with the tension screws. If you overtighten, the filament will bend under pressure and not enter the hole in the selector but will hit its edge.
