Filament getting jammed pre-loading into MMU—filament tip kept sharp

I really struggle getting my filament to pre-load into the MMU. Nearly every time, it snags when exiting the PTFE tube and entering the MMU itself. I know Prusa's instructions say to keep the tip sharp, which I do, but still struggle with this frequently. Yesterday I opened the MMU and cleaned out the rollers, but this seems to be a problem before it even gets to the rollers.

This seems to me to be a very sensitive design. If I'm lucky enough to get it working, I'll likely see it go wrong the next time I have to change the filament.

Can someone please suggest ways I can make this work better? Are there some mods I can do to improve this? Maintenance?

i Streight the Filament bevor i go into the last part of Tube, go to menu and start "preload to mmu slot ..." start activate the motor and push it in. yes it is a little tricky but not to hard

I try to round the tip a bit and that seems to help. To be clear, the hangup is before the serrated drive pulleys

Have you checked to ensure the PTFE tubes are properly seated and pushed right in??

If you open the MMU3 there is a small viewing hole where the end of the tube should be visible (just before the filament touches the pulley's)

Is it possible to have the filament loaded after the bed calibration has been done?

In the MK4S+MMU3 this function exists, but if the printer is used in "single mode" or without the MMU3 the printer heats the nozzle, loads the filament and then cools the nozzle to the bed calibration temperature.

This causes the filament to drip from the nozzle and the nozzle cleaning system does not work properly and the calibration is incorrect due to the presence of not melted filament under the nozzle.

The presence of filament makes the PTFE tube less flexible, falsifying the load cell reading.

I also use the MMU3 to have different types of filament, but this requires that I can only choose between PETG or PLA, while if I want to print ABS or other materials I have to choose the "single" mode with all the problems mentioned above.
