MMU2 mechanical filament buffer
No matter the trials and tribulations I went through to calibrate the filament bowden length on my MMU2, it continually attempted to force an excessive amount of filament into the extruder. The filament would jam and the MMU2 pulley would grind out a chunk of filament causing future load/unload issues during filament changes.
So, instead of mucking with firmware and being mad about it - I made a mechanical filament buffer which has completely solved these issues. I'm aware that others have done the same, so this certainly isn't something new - it was just my take on it. I've also never taken an STL, converted it into a solid object and then modified it accordingly - which was a great learning experience.
Anyway, I published it on thingiverse in the event someone else wants it and is looking for a parts list to make it a bit easier:

Here is the video of it in action:

I would recommend two changes:
for example DIN 912

Thanks for the suggestions! I totally agree! It was just the bits I had sitting in my bins at the time.
