Easy LACK Enclosure mods for stock Mk3S & MMU2/MMU2S
My goal was to make the MMU2 work in the LACK enclosure, without modifying where/how the MMU2 was mounted or adding silly long legs to the LACK table. I also didn't like how most mods made the top table challenging to remove. I fiddle with the printer quite often, so that top is going to be coming off a lot. Here's what I did; I'd love to know what you think.
NOTE: I connected the magnet handles/latch on the top, so the doors stay closed when I remove the top.
Making the MMU2 and the bowden fit in the space under the LACK table was surprisingly easy. The table is basically two sheets of thin particle board with a paper honeycomb in the middle. So just cutting out a cavity on the bottom provides plenty of room for everything. Then just cut a hole in the top to access the MMU2 unit.
I didn't like having an ugly hole on top, so I designed an access window and hinge for it:

To route the filament tubes up to the MMU2, I trimmed a section at the bottom of the rear acrylic and used the cable clips to organize them.

So I could remove the top, without manually unplugging the LEDs from the power, I used copper tape to make simple electrical contacts on the rear two legs. One leg is positive, the other is negative.
And to dim or turn off the LEDs, I threw in a high-power potentiometer with integrated switch. ( https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/cts-electrocomponents/026TB32R102B1B1/CT3021-ND/3045572 )
Since I tend to take the top off quite frequently, I also designed some robust handles:

To connect the bottom two LACK tables together, I used this bracket off thingiverse:

For vibration & sound dampening, I printed these LACK table feet in semi-flex with light infill:

The storage containers are the Elfa containers from The Container Store. The hanging shelf uses these guides:

And those spool holders are specifically designed for the MMU2/S, to collect the unloaded filament and prevent tangles:
