Any ideas for spools mounted _below_ the printer?

I'm using an IKEA table (BEKVAM not LAKSA) for my printer. For the MMU 1 I just had the spools below the printer on the middle "shelf":

But with the new MMU 2 this obviously won't work because the system that manages the filament slack is obviously meant to work horizontally (the spools being more or less on the same surface as the printer).

So has anyone already thought about / tried out / come up with a solution for having their spools under their printer?

Have you seen this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3184377/comments ?
Maybe with some mods you might be able to adopt it to your table.

Yeah, I saw that and some of the other ideas but it doesn't look like something that would really fit. Even if you'd get it in there somehow the filament would have to go through some pretty sharp corners I'd guess. I was thinking there was perhaps a way to mount it horizontally, flat against the underside of the top surface for example. But haven't actually thought it through yet.
