Wipe tower curls up and wipe the whole print
Hi, my 3K3S+ + MMU2S got a problem about the wipe tower. It curls up after 10-15 layers and finally caught by the nozzle......well, the print got wiped too.
I am using Satin, printing PLA, bed 60, nozzle 215 First 205 Other
I guess one of the problem is it is not sticking to the bed so I tried to tuned up the bed temp to 70 and it gots better.
however, I can see it is still curling up (less this time).
I wonder if it is because the extruder stopped at the wipe tower when it is changing the filament, making the tower being blowed by the fan for too long.
Thanks and Any thinking guys?

RE: Wipe tower curls up and wipe the whole print
I had a similar problem in the past.
My solution was:
- to use the smooth PEI sheet instead of the powder coated sheet. Of course washed carefully with water and soap and dried with kitchen paper making sure not to leave fingerprints behind.
- the default section of the wipe tower is a rectangle with the long side parallel to the direction of the nozzle wiping. This is exacerbating any warping tendency of the filaments that you are using. A better way of proceeding is to change the setting "wipe tower width" (print settings -> multiple extruders -> wipe tower -> width. By making the wipe tower square or rectangular with the long side perpendicular to the wiping direction, you will minimise any tendency to warp of the material.
