How to print with TPE (Flexible Material) on the I3MK3S + MMU2S
regards
The truth is, my impressions were pleasant when until the MMU2S arrived, since then everything has been complicated. I have already decided to print multifilaments with materials other than PLA Prusament, given the problems that arise. Now I tried to print with a flexible TPE that I previously used when I had the I3MK3, but with the MMU2S I have not been able to load the filament to the extruder, the MMU is going to fail and does not drag the filament that has a lot of friction in the MMU tubes . Has anyone managed to print with Flexible material on an MMU2S? I need help because the technical service simply replied that they do not officially have support for this material!

It is not supported because is is very hard to get it working.
I have done a couple of prints with flexible filament thru the mmu, even was brave enough to try a print with tpu & pla mixed with many filament changes and got the object to print, warped a bit since it started to come loose from the print bed during print and warped a little.
First problem you will run in to is to adjust the extruder gear and the sensor tower just right so it detects the filament once it is moved all the way down to extruder.
Since filament is soft, the harder the pressure is on the extruder gears the more it will get compressed and the filament sensor tower in extruder wont detect it properly.
If you have done the sensor led modification by soldering a resistor and led to filament sensor you can more easily see how the sensor gets triggered (or not), if not you have to rely on menu system to aid you (not easily accessible later during print and when you get errors)
There is also a small modification you can print that makes the adjustment of the sensor tower easier by using a screw from the side, makes it easier to do fine adjustments and makes it less random compared to the stock version.
Also the extruder gear must be pushing as little as possible against the TPU, should be so it just starts to grab it properly and no more.
I initially screwed this up and ended up getting filament twisted backwards around the extruder stepper motor shaft a couple of turns (don't ask me how it could move the wrong way) and was forced to disassemble the extruder to fix it.

Ok, thank you
