AmazonBasics PLA on the MMU2S
Hello,
Prusaslicer settings are showing that the AmazonBasics PLA filament is "not compatible" with the MMU2S.
Why is that? Any idea?
I am surprised since I just made a couple of multicoloured prints (a total of 50 hours of printing) without any single incident, using AmazonBasics PLA filament (I had to force Prusaslicer to accept it by changing the dependencies settings).
RE: AmazonBasics PLA on the MMU2S
How did you "Change the dependency settings"? I just converted my printer to MMU2 and would prefer not to waste the ~10kg of Amazon Basics PLA that I have :-/
RE: AmazonBasics PLA on the MMU2S
I changed the dependencies settings on the Filament Settings tab in PrusaSlicer.
Ticked the boxes and edited the line in "Compatible Printers Conditions" with the info from a compatible filament like Prusament.
Now I can select the AmazonBasic with the MK3s with MMU.
I have no idea if this works as I'm still waiting on my own MMU to arrive.
Don't forget that Prusa thinks this filament is not compatible for some reason. If you run into problems try a compatible filament first.
