MMU2 Board Dead?
Received my MMU2 yesterday, planning to build it tomorrow.
Thought I would flash the new firmware to the board before I get started. I plug the bare MMU2 board into USB on my PC and get nothing. No board detected, no new com port, no LED's on the MMU2 board.
Is that correct or does the board need its external power as well as the USB to flash it?
Or have I been shipped a dead controller board?
Re: MMU2 Board Dead?
It needs power from the mk3's power supply. its a quick upload to it best wait until the mmu is complete
Re: MMU2 Board Dead?
Thank you Rui, you were correct. The MMU2 board requires 24v to power up. I guess I am too used to Arduino's that power on as soon as USB is connected 🙂
Re: MMU2 Board Dead?
Hi. I assembled my MMU2 and COM port is not found.
ATm32U4DFU driver was not found.
I did all that I can do, to fix this MMU2. Grounding strap for any Electric static, was used as a precaution. MK3 says, MMU2 = N/A.
None of the lights, light up.
Neither motor movements. By hand, all motors turn freely.
I did all the checks and rechecked many times.
What issue do I have???
Re: MMU2 Board Dead?
Hi Olef,
same for me. I measure 24,6 V directly on the board (the polarity is correct), but it does nothing. No LED, not found by slic3r, nothing.
Re: MMU2 Board Dead?
Same here, MMU2 is fully assembled, bu no lights. I did all the checks multiple times.

I would suggest you contact PR live chat support. They will guide you and send a replacement if anything is broken.
