MK3S+ & MMU2 - Screen squares after deep clean

Hello - I removed our printer from the enclosure after a jam in the extruder took place. I was able to clear the nozzle but now after reassembly and reconnecting it is only showing squares on the load screen and the MMU2 doesn't seem to be able to home, it attempts and then all of the lights flash red. I've checked all of the wires, even went as far as to opening the electric box to ensure everything was snuggly plugged, and plugged in the correct place, I've utilized the hard reset button, turned it off and on multiple times, left it over night to see if it just needed to rest, and I am really at a loss as to what else to try. It has had the latest firmware since it came out and has printed successfully with it (I've seen solutions that involve updating this), and the only thing I have left to attempt is to plug it in to a computer, but even then I am not sure what I am doing. Please help

Squares are almost always due to poor connections or damaged wiring - usually one of the ribbon cables is loose at the LCD end but it might have been tugged loose at the Einsy board (if you have the daughterboard version check that is not loose too.)

Also check the earth connections are sound.

Cheerio,

would the wires around the fan being squished too much damage them? Everything seems snug and secure, but this blue wire is pretty squished - I have the experience wiring the MMU2 and that's about the extent of my knowledge.
