I have been having the same problems with my MMU2. Have stopped using it until I can figure out what the problem is. I will have to try swapping out the PTFE tube with some Capricorn

Have you tried this yet? I'm curious as to your results.

Sorry, I have really busy, and didn't have the time to change out the PTFE tube until a couple of days ago (had to tear down the printer to change it out). I have only done a few prints since changing it out, and no problems yet. I tried a couple of quick multi color prints as test runs. Pictures attached. (Bender print on the right is with the original PTFE, and the left is is some Capricorn tubing).

Hey, that looks great! Nice work!

So you replaced the tube inside the extruder hot end with Capricorn tubing or the PTFE tube that goes from the MMU2 to the top of the extruder body? You probably already said it, but I'm loosing track of everything on the forums!
