Blobs on Prime Tower - initial load too big?
I'm running TZB's FW, but he swears he hasn't touched this code - just an FYI.
I've gotten my MMU set up working wonderfully with semi-flex/98a. Thinking I was King of the World, I loaded up PLA and was right back in crashyfail city.
On filament change, the old filament is removed, then the new one loads to Bondtechs. It goes forward, putting a large blob of the previous filament on the tower, retracts and reloads as normal.
If I further decrease "extra reload distance" I can make the Prime Tower as rarefied as I'd like - but this does nothing to prevent the blob which is ejected on the first load.
Is this something I can fix in the slicer settings? I feel the distance in the firmware (again, Robert has assured me this is perfect and doesn't need tweaking, though I am unconvinced) of the initial load should be set shorter, and use "extra reload distance" to get the filament to the nozzle after the initial load-and-check procedure.
Does that make sense? Any advice?

are you using a stock prusa extruder design or an update BMG/bear/skelestruder/BNBSX extruder?
