My hats off to Prusa. The world has changed so much. My printer shipped from Czech yesterday. Routed through Germany this AM. It arrived today in Customs and has already cleared customs in Cincy. Who would imagine receiving a large package in 48 hours from Czech? We have truly revolutionized the world marketplace. Isn't capitalism great?

I see that the MMU2 assembly manual has been posted. They've also included an important new warning for novice (and experienced) builders. I'm including a screenshot here to make sure everyone reads it and follows the instructions.

this is great news. and I swear it is working better if you act as your own MMU. I did change 1 setting but wow, its acting 100% better then it has in weeks. with the slicer beta anyway

UPS is teasing me. They still confidently say "Delivered 8/31 by end of day", and "on-track for delivery", but the last check-in is a warehouse scan in Prague last night. I would love to use the long weekend to get things assembled, but I'm not optimistic.

UPS is teasing me. They still confidently say "Delivered 8/31 by end of day", and "on-track for delivery", but the last check-in is a warehouse scan in Prague last night. I would love to use the long weekend to get things assembled, but I'm not optimistic.

At the moment, only the full kits are being shipped. MMU1->MMU2 upgrades will start shipping in a couple of weeks.

At the moment, only the full kits are being shipped. MMU1->MMU2 upgrades will start shipping in a couple of weeks.
Man, that's super disappointing. After waiting all this time, through all these delays, the sudden elation and excitement thinking mine's about to ship any moment now (none of the blogs or posts say anything about upgrades being delayed), only to get sent to the back of the line behind those who ordered after me.

Couldn't agree more... I find this pretty unfair. Orders should be processed chronological. It's that feeling like backing a Kickstarter campaign and ending up not receiving your reward before people can buy it in the store.

I still all happy they have started shipping. I am soo sick of being my own MMU, but am glad doing it manually seems to work better than before.

I just got my shipping notice from UPS. No delivery date yet, but I'm hoping for midweek.
Preorder placed 11/11/17.
