Please guide me.... Moving MMU2 from 2.5 to Mk3S.
I have the MMU2 on a Mk2.5. Due to a temporary production ramp up I have several Mk3S on order. I'd like to move my MMU2 to a Mk3S and still have a working 2.5. After my big job I'll sell the Mk2.5. I have no idea when/if my MMU2S upgrade will arrive but it will likely arrive before the end of April when this job ends.
Questions:
Is it going to be possible to use the non-S MMU2 on an S printer?
I know the MK3S uses a new PTFE length. Do I need to scavenge the PTFE that came with the MMU2 out of the 2.5?
Is refreshing the 2.5 firmware, removing the unit and removing the topper to the extruder all thats needed?
Any other tips?
