New video on the MMU
I can't wait for mine to arrive, this is looking better and better!
Re: New video on the MMU
I wonder if Prusa will eventually replace the existing filament sensor with the one developed for the MMU v2. It seams to solve all the problems with both micro switches for a mechanical one and IR light for the current optical one.

Would love to see it in an MK3S update.
Re: New video on the MMU
I was hoping this was finally going to be a video where we get to see the thing working, but no such luck.
Sigh.

Re: New video on the MMU
Yea, nice to see updates for PEI and MMU 2, waiting for both
Re: New video on the MMU
A "Meh" video at best. No new info on the MMU upgrade. Would have been nice to actually see it working.
It also appears to be using the exact same E-Axis, so since I'm having issues with my E-Axis, the upgrade won't really help me.
Re: New video on the MMU
Why doesn't it wipe into the diamond part of the infill too? The purge block could be shrunk even further that way right? You could even have the software balance out the purge in the diamonds evenly so that the parts center of mass is not effected.

Rather than asking why it doesn't do something, why don't you sit down and write a post-processor which does what you want. Then in a year's time, maybe you will realise the complexities that are involved with this.
And please don't hide links to "mattress reviews" in your posts... (yes, it's been removed)
