New to 3D printing and first multi-color with MMU2s
I received my MK3s+ in May. Assembled it and was very pleased with the prints I was getting with it. I was able to print ABS, PLA, PETG, and even some simple TPU parts successfully. When I ordered the printer, I also ordered the MMU2s, but it wouldn't arrive until later. Well later has arrived and I was a bit nervous after reading all the negative reviews and issues people have with the MMU.
I jumped in anyway. It went together easily in a couple of hours. I was able to run the calibration then ran the first layer calibration 3 times, then nothing but MMU failures. After working through steps with support (very helpful BTW), it came down to the hotend being blocked. I removed the hotend and found a hardened piece of PLA stuck in PTFE tube. It was really stuck! Finally got it out.
Now I've need able to calibrate the first layer again and ran my first multicolor print successfully with zero interaction. I am pleased. This stupid little cube took 7 hours to print.
Now to dial it in.

Looks pretty good. Better than I could get with the old MMU before I sold it. Good luck.
