I know the feeling.... 18/2 here. Because they "were going to ship within 2 weeks" I already took apart my MK2.5 as soon as the STLs became available, so yeah... 🙂 (every time)

We started shipping MMU2S upgrades and upgrades of MMU2 to MMU2S in small batches only until a new form is ready for the mass production of the filament buffer parts. Currently, small batches are prepared directly in our Prusalab and we can therefore ship only 50 units per day as an absolute maximum, divided between MMU2S upgrades for MK3S and MMU2 to MMU2S upgrades.

We want to start shipping bigger amounts daily as soon as possible and will then update the shipping table with better estimates.

Mine was shipped today. I only know this because DHL sent me a notification. I never got an email from PR about it being shipped, so you might want to check your account to make sure it hasn't been delivered already!
(it wasn't in my spam folder either)

I've found that Prusa normally sends email shipment notification 12-24 hours after they create the DHL shipment label. So I usually get the notification from DHL first, and an email from Prusa within a day.

I'm assuming it will take a while to work through orders from the 17th. There's probably a lot of people who ordered their upgrade as soon as they got the email.

My hope was, if they give out vouchers (I got one too), that they have enough in stock for these at least. It's not the first update they do and they know how many i3 they sold. Maybe they should prepare better before letting us know that it's ready... Maybe they could hire a logistics expert... 😉

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If they waited to send out vouchers until they had enough stock to ship, then people would be complaining about how long it's taking to get vouchers (see: powder-coated build plates).

At the root, Prusa is a company run by and for hobbyists. Manufacturing logistics just isn't their thing, and might never be their thing. It's not as much fun as tinkering with cool new ideas.

You may have to wait a bit for products from Prusa, but at least you will get them someday.

I ordered one of these for my C-64 and I am still waiting ...... 🙄

Mine just came in today. Printing it right now. Just to let anyone know, my printer crashed/rebooted the moment I tried to print the provided GCODE files for the upgrade. Ended up just loading the STL files into Slic3r PE and and slicing them myself, but I thought I would put that out there for anyone who tries this.
It was probably because the provided GCODE is not sliced for the MMU2 Single...
