Load command actually unloads

Not sure what's going on here but when I issue the command from the LCD or the MMU buttons to load, I can actually watch the MMU spin backwards and unload the filament. Every single time. Any ideas?

The MMU unit is newly built and installed today on my 9-month-old MK3 that has been solid as a rock.

I saw this problem a few times on mine. I chalked it up to an error condition in which the MMU2 controller had essentially crashed. In all but one instance, powering off the printer and rebooting made the issue go away. In one case however, power cycling did not fix it, and I actually had to re-flash the firmware on the MMU2 to get it working again.

Hi,
first, try reflashing the firmware and if it doesn't help, contact our support.

Firmware for the MMU2 unit is bundled with the regular firmware:
