how to choose filament / data ?

Hi
I got my Prusa Mk3 in May and have successfully printed some prototypes 🙂  but I need to use a different material for the end product. I first bought some Flexfill 98A and tried to do the final version and I had a partial success as it printed fine for a while, before sounding weird - the filament got jammed in the bontex gears 🙁

At this point I received my MMU2 upgrade and installed it => absolutely no luck printing anything Flexfill 98A - but PLA works fine .... oh, and the Prusaslicer has no option for Flexfill 98A after I changed setup to MMU2 ...!...?

I need to use a filament that will withstand at least 75C, gasoline, oil, etc. - is there anything else that will work ?

It is very annoying not to be able to see which solvents and temperatures the different filaments can be used with anywhere (I found partial info) - it would be great if all these data where available in a document where you can search / sort after what is important in the application you need for a project.

Any help will be appreciated very much - thanks.

RE: how to choose filament / data ?

There are threads about using flex with both the plain printer and the MMU. The crux of the issue is that because it is so soft idler tensions have to be very light or you get the tangles you mentioned. You also need to have everything move slow to avoid the tangles.

Throwing the MMU into the mix seems to multiply the issues as it has more moving parts and more places where it can jam up and not move as desired. Again it seems to be a fine balance between enough tension/speed to get it to move, but too much and you start having problems.

Note: I've only made one failed attempt with NinjaFlex without the MMU and haven't gone back to it since. I'm just summarizing what I've read in other threads on the subject.
