What does short green, long red error code mean?
I have seen this on my MMU several times, but I cannot find any documentation about what it means. I go to load a filament to the nozzle and instead of loading it goes into this error: short green, long red. I have attached a GIF showing it.
If I push the button on the MMU to complete the load, it pulls the filament to the FINDA (I think, but can't really tell because my FINDA indicator shipped without a working indicator) and then it backs it back out to the ready position and returns to this blink pattern.
I'd love to do whatever song and dance it wants me to do to fix it, but I haven't figure it out yet. If I do, I'll post it here and in a comment on the docs. Until then, I will be doing every song and dance I can think of in my basement workshop.
RE: What does short green, long red error code mean?
Getting the same thing. The single most frustrating thing about all this is the lack of clear error codes. I don't mind fixing things - I fix things all the time. It's kinda what I do. If someone could point me to the firmware source code I'll go find it myself, but it sure would be nice to have all of this info pulled together for easy reference. If my computer bios throws a beep code at POST I can go to the mother board manufacturers website and know in seconds what the problem is based on the beep code. It would be great if this was similar.
Maybe I'm just misunderstanding how to interpret the LED codes? Anyway - I'm half way through my first multicolor print (the gecko that's supposed to take 3 hours) and so far I'm pushing five hours and ten or so 'MMU needs user attention' messages. I was expecting some pain in the first few prints but I wasn't expecting it would be so difficult to ferret out the problems.
