MMU retracting filament too far
I have recently started having a problem where the MMU retracts the filament too far and cannot re-load the filament the next time.
It does not happen all the time.
I have verified the PINDA sensor position. There is no stringing on the tip and nothing that is pulling the filament back.
Any help would be appreciated.
RE: MMU retracting filament too far
Check if the FINDA sensor is clogged with old filament strings. I had a similar issue when trying to manually load filament the other day after printing TPU and PLA at the same time (which is obviously not recommended, also I think i need to hone in my TPU profile a bit, but MMU settings in slicer are a little confusing).
Simply unscrew the PTFE tube and press a piece of filament through the sensor from the MMU side, if it is clogged with debree it should fall right out.
