kit assembly success and a print quality question

Hi

I have just completed upgrading to Mk3S and adding MMU. Thanks to the advice in these  blogs and several of the suggested mods from people this has been successful and my printer now feeds from 5 sources on demand - so far reliably.

Before upgrading, I had used the Mk3 to do a fair amount of trouble free printing and felt fairly comfortable with settings to achieve what I needed.

However, I am having trouble with print quality after the conversion. The photo below shows what is happening. The top image shows the underside while the lower one is the top surface. I'm printing Prusa pla on the standard setting, Optimal 0.15mm. The test disc is imported from a Fusion 360 design (as is most of my work) and measures 35mm in diameter. It appears that the layers above the base layer are failing to adhere to the walls, although they stick to each other.

The fan and the firmware are different in the 3S version, of course, so maybe I'm missing something there.

I think it is something basic and I suspect that someone more experienced will look at these and recognise where I am going wrong so I'd be grateful for a bit of guidance.

Sorted. That was a dumb mistake! When updating Slicer I had selected the incorrect profile in the config wizard. Mk2 MMU not Mk3. I had concentrated hard on sorting the trickier bits of the upgrade but hadn't looked carefully at what I was selecting.

It would be good if all problems could be so easily rectified, although this one took a lot of repeated checking before I clicked.
