Filament jams on "outgoing passage"
While loading filament, the filament gets wedged against the “outgoing” passageway, just past the drive gears.  I’ve cut the filament to a point, as indicated in picture 9 of the handbook.  But, even with a point, the filament comes out of the “incoming” passageway, goes across the drive gear (which is perfectly aligned).  But, the filament usually curves a little bit and catches on the opening of the passageway.

My workaround: If I open up the unit, I can nudge the filament into the passageway, while pushing from the buffer-end of the PTFE tube.

I’m thinking I shouldn’t have to employ this workaround all the time.

RE: Filament jams on "outgoing passage"

First, I would clean the third Bondtech gear, which looks severely covered with a ground filament. Second, I would check that a top bearing pushes the filament to the gear. Finally, I'd use a twist drill on the incoming hole to ensure that it routes a filament to the Bondtech gear properly
