Assembled MMU2S but now fails to initialize
assembled and connected my MMU2s to my Prusa i3 MK3S. The MK3S was working fine for several years. I passed all the tests after completing the MMU2s build. When i turned it on every time, it would calibrate itself and initialize.
My problems started at the "Load filament" step - I tried and tried. "Load Filament 1" , "Load Filament 2", "Load Filament 3", etc.
Every time, it failed to load the filament. If i pressed the filament further into the tube, it would error out.
I removed the filaments and turned off the printer.
the next day, the MMU2S blinks lights when I power on. However, it then does nothing and only has the middle green light showing. The MK3S menu does not show the options that used to be there (for loading filament).
The MK3S menus has MMU "On"
I have followed all the steps in the trouble shooting guide - cycle the MMU On/Off in the menu. power on/off. Hold down the "reset" button on the MMU. Re-flash the MMU firmware in both the MK3 AND the MMU. Check the cables (they all still appear to be connected)
Any thoughts?
