What is that Wyze mount you got in the corner there, if you don’t mind me asking? And did you find you need to use any heat extraction?

It’s just a quick bracket I drew up. It’s attached with double sided tape and I use the Wyze steel disk to mount the camera.

I am using heat extraction. 120mm fan with a thermostat and it works pretty well. I didn’t use the electronics and case they recommended. I put everything in the wiring box next to the PS.

Another Wyze mount you may want to check out is https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/32687-slide-in-wyze-cam-prusa-mount.

Attaches to the 3030 extrusion. I use it on all my Mini and Mk3S systems.

I got the 3DUpfitters enclosure. So far, I'm very happy with it. I installed a dryer vent, so the fan is drawing air across the power supply and venting outdoors. I bought the larger enclosure since I have an MMU on order. I'll post some updates as I continue to customize it.

Where did you find the box?  Is it ready-made?

I’m very happy with the Prusa Box and Repbox filament holder.  Still have to install the mmu2s, but haven’t had the time to dig in.  The instructions on the Prusa Box are a bit hit or miss, but Julien is quick to respond to questions.  Overall, it’s a great kit.

Need to get OctoDash reinstalled yet   Pretty much last thing to do, other than mmu

How long did it take to build the case?

Do they make a case for the 3S+ and the MMU2S?

Yep!  It’s an add on part.  I have it, but haven’t installed it yet, as I wanted to get the printer fully dialed in first.  Printing and assembly of the Prusa Box took me about 2 weeks.  Took my time.  I did pretty much every mod they offered as well.

RE: Which enclosure to buy?

The Prusa-Box looks nice. I have the enclosure from 3D Upfitters. Comparing the two, I see:

  • 3D Upfitters has a better solution for fumes: the fan pulls fumes out a port, which I vent to the outside via a hose and a dryer vent.
  • Prusa-Box has a better solution for the MMU: by mounting the MMU outside the box, you can deal with loading and jams much better.

Of course you could mod either one to meet your needs. Both seem like good designs, and are priced pretty similar.
