Standard (US) dimensions for Lack enclosure?

Looking for the dimensions for the acrylic panels. I think I did my math right, and just wanted to double check what people have been using.

Does this look right, and match what others have been using? Because their suggestion of 18" is going to be too big yes? 18" is almost 460mm!!!

440 x 440 = 17 5/16" x 17 5/16"

220 x 440 = 8 5/8" x 17 5/16"

I actually used 500x500mm. The acrylic panels sit OUTSIDE of the enclosure to give me a few extra inches inside. It was just enough that I didn't have to modify anything to be able to prevent the heat bed cable from hitting the back panel.

Wait, what? How does that still fit inside the printed parts that are supposed to hold the panels? They go in between the legs, and have a very specific size and space between them. Unless you are saying you attached them differently to the Lack tables? Do you have pictures you can share? 🙂

I am looking for assistance with the one designed by Prusa, but interested in your modifications!

Dimensions in inches are 17.3×17.3 and 8.6×17.3.

This is the one I built a while back. The plexiglass sits on the outside of each side and just rests in some little holders. It works well enough, but I also got some weather stripping to put on the edges of the plexiglass to help with the noise.
