Raspberry Pi + Pi Cam + Hue Play setup
Hi all,
just wanted to briefly showcase my current state of the MK3S+ setup. I am new to Prusa but not new 2 3D printing after owning a small Creality printer (kit) and Flashforge Adventurer 3. MK3S+ is such a big leap forward, I am really happy that I pulled a trigger and invested into the kit.
Really enjoyed the build process, everything went surprisingly smooth and without any big issues.
I have already used OctoPrint with the Creality printer previously so was definetely looking forward to use it with the Prusa printer too.
I have upgraded my network to Unifi with POE support and also added POE hat to the Raspberry Pi 3b+. After some searches I have found the suitable mountable case + a very slick camera mount. I have also purchased 3rd party flex cable in black. I think it looks really nice.
The only issue or missing component I currently see is some kind of protection for the flex cable, do you guys have any ideas here?
Also planing to do proper cable management for Hue Play bar + 2nd holder arm. Initial second arm I printed with PETG actually broke during installation. Currently printing the second in PLA, let's see which holds better 🙂 This will be a very good side-by-side material comparison based on a real use-case.
And the ultimate step will be to build the Lack based enclosure. I already have 2 tables but still waiting for the plexi glass parts to arrive. Actually ordered a set of eBay which also included printed parts.
