OctoPrint, Statistics and FailStats?

I'm using Octoprint to print with my MK3s. That all works great but I noticed some things I that don't work and I would like to know if that is some way to make it work anyway. Maybe with plugins for Octoprint.

Today I had a print fail. Only a small layer shift but it doesn't look great and I will do it over again. But when I looked to see what happened I noticed that the fail stats on the Prusa didn't show meaningful numbers. With a little testing with printing via Octoprint and from the sd-card I figured out the printer doesn't store the fail stats for the latest Octoprint print. But shows all fails from when the printer last used the sd-card. So with one forced fail on the sd-card print and 2 on the next Octoprint print the stats now show 3 fails for the last print.

Is there a way to make the Prusa show the fails for the Octoprint print only or does anyone know of a plugin for Octoprint to show these?

And the statistics for the Prusa only show the prints done with the sd-card. The display now shows 67m filament used but I have used over 3kg since I have the Prusa.

Same question. Is there a way to display the actual statistics?

Both not really important, but would be nice to have a fix or work around.

RE: OctoPrint, Statistics and FailStats?

That is funny - I think it is that way:

Priting from SD-card ==> the printer is adding the used filament length and is calculating that. But: using Octoprint during a print (means you start the print over Octoprint) the Prusa printer is NOT calculating the filament length.

There is a plugin which is available:
https://plugins.octoprint.org/plugins/stats/

If you have problems to install please respond here.

Best regards, Clemens

Thanks. I had seen that but at first glance I thought it was just for power monitoring. Looks like it can do more that just that.

I have installed it now and will see what it can do for me. At the moment there isn't much to see, but that will change after a few days/prints.

Installation needed an extra step for me because I didn't use pyhton 3 yet. That was easy to fix.

Upgrade your OctoPrint install to Python 3!

Just a little update about the plugin. It works fine and now I have atleast some idea of how much I have used the Prusa. No info on how much filament is used but that I can see on the spools. There is also power used info. I haven't changed anything on that as I'm not really interested in that info.

Does anyone have the precise watt values for the PrusaMK3S MMU2 to use with the plugin? With data source preferably?

Here is what I found so far:

Heatbed: 150 watts (Voltage: 24V Current: 6.25A https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/mk3mk3smk3s/198-magnetic-heatbed-mk52-24v-assembly.html )

HotEnd: 40 watts ( https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/mk3mk3smk3s/384-hotend-heater-cartridge-e3d-24v-40w.html )

Leaves electronic (including MMU) and stepper motors....
