Octoprint plugin: Bed Level visualizer - what to do
Hello,
I am newbie with octoprint and I want to add something new to my printer, I installed Octoprint, and I have 2 issues, (I created separate threads).
I installed Bed Level Visualiser plugin as I have lot of issues with setting bed evenly, when printing large surfaces it happens in middle I have empty space (nozzle is too high) while at the corners the printed surface is wavy (nozzle too low). I wanted to use this plugin to show the data and made corrective actions, however after installing I dont know what to do 😀
I am using this plugin:

@martind
Looks good to me. Better than what I get on my MK3S+. Though I'm not worried about the variations on mine, mesh leveling has does a good job of taking that into account. I'm getting good prints.

RE: Octoprint plugin: Bed Level visualizer - what to do
Hi all, I have a Prusa i3 MK3S+ connect via Octoprint and Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W.
I run the plugin "Bed Level Visualizer" but I don't understand If:
1.) the measurements I received take in consideration only the physical distances read from the pinda sensor;
or
2.) the measurements together with the setting I place in the Printer firmware with the Bed Level Correction.
Thank you for the clarification.

Yeah.. good point.. I am just about to do the same.. but I don't want to put any corrections in the firmware.. The idea is *not* to put anything permanent in the firmware as then you are just doing the pinda's job.. So I'd set all the calibrate > Bed level correction settings to zero.. Then it doesn't matter.. do the visualizer and it will tell you the physical state of the bed.. then do the physical silicon mod to physically level the bed.. You should not need to then add any calibration settings in the firmware.. The 9 pt mesh leveling before a print will then just do minor adjustments as the bed wears over time.. or as it expands at different temps. (I think that is how it works.. :))
