Nozzle change procedure with non-standard nozzles

Hi there,

I have some hardened nozzles from my previous printer, that technically fit the E3D hotend because of the M6 thread. But those nozzles are longer to various degrees.

Looking at the calibration procedure it seems like I have to make sure that the height differerence to pinda sensor is more or less at the same as with the default nozzle.

What woould be a proper procedure to re-calibrate after nozle change with a longer nozzle?

Thx in advance,

Michael

Ideally manufacturing tollerances are relatively close.
You migbt be able to adjust within the current live z rang
If the hard nozzles are a lot longer then follow tthe assembly instructions...

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK
