Blurolls spring steel with PRUSA stamp and lines. I have 2 of these. I bought 2 for $14 a piece and they have a mirror like finish.

Update on testing: I took the four sheets and I have applied CS Hyde PEI. I decided not to wait on Prusa PEI. So far, I have completed Live Z settings. I have that dialed in and there is a nominal difference bwteeen the beds but they are all less than +- 100 of the original prusa stickered sheet. It is hard compare them since the PRUSA PEI is thicker.

They have all been tested. They are essentially the same.

Are they actually spring steel or just steel? Do they flex back to a flat surface reliably?

How is the finish? Any rough edges or burrs? I've read that even the BuildTak sheets often have burrs that can damage the Prusa heated bed if not addressed.

Good stuff, thanks for the info.

I am pretty sure they are spring steel.

Bought the same, together with the "Buildtak" like sticker.
Quality seems good, 0,5mm flex steel plate, but I think the pattern is printed on, not lasered. When I cleaned it with IPA the paper tissue got black.
Fit and finish is good, edges are quite clean, but I de-burred them a bit more with a file and some 280 grit sand paper.
Adhesion to the heat bed is similar to the original Prusa print bed.

The FYSETC spring steel sheet. You can buy them with PEI and without. The key is searching Aliexpress and looking for the lowest price and free shipping.

    Charles:

Have you tested or considered testing the tthekkiinngg powder coated sheet from here? https://www.amazon.com/Thekkiinngg-Double-Sided-Textured-Powder-Coated-Version/dp/B07HR54B32/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1543499264&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=Prusa+MK3+the+pei+print+bed

Apologies if you have another post for it some elsewhere, I see things here and reddit and sometimes get confused where I see things.

It is powdercoated and $54 no shipping on amazon. Apparently, the V3 has received good reviews.

I have tested it and have 25-30 pints on it. Prusa is better but not a bad print surface.

Got it. It is the "Testing print bed sheets" thread. I thought I saw it but wasn't sure. It looks like a viable alternative. Thank you for the effort to test all these!.

I think they may haver quality control issues. I have read quite a few differing opinions.

    for "thekkking"?

    my 2 cents.

worked great till a few prints came loose. then the printed model would basically sandpaper the powder coat then it became useless. at least that was my experience with "thekkking" worked great till then tho.

    I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

I has a similar but I used IPA to clean it and it returned to normal. You cannot use tools to remove printer. I just cool and flex to remove. Sandpaper and acetone will ruin these surfaces.

I really like my V3. I only print PETG and it makes it so easy to get it off with out worrying about tearing the bed.

The only downside is the slight warp. Three sides are down about 0.3 mm. My Prusa sheet is not that bad. I added a little paper under the bad corner and that helped a little. But I only get a really good first layer in about a 5-7 inch area. I consider adding some foil tape to three sides to see if I could improve that? When I get the textured plate from Prusa I will do one of the bed leveling adjustments.

I can see that. It is a little less "sticky" with PETG than the PEI stcikers.

Well, I ordered a V3 TTTheKKKinggg version from Amazon to check out and as an for now alternative to the Prusa Powder Coated sheet until whenever they become available for purchase in the future.

I admit, I did get the PC sheet with my Kit and I am spoiled by it 😳 . It is truly a marvel and I clearly credit it for much of my printing success... 🙂 🙂

If I could, I would have 2 spare PC sheets so that I could keep printing without delay at all times. The PC sheet when it cools down just pops the print off on its own.. It is spectacular. However, while it is cooling you cannot print.... The problem is there are people without them and I understand that there are some waiting for a long time for one and want them all to have the same joy I do with it so there is no way I would try to get another until they have had their chance to experience it. Hopefully, the wait will not be long.

As long as the TTtheKKKingg works half as well as the Prusa PC sheet I can use it for an alternative for now...
